STONINGTON RECREATION

Stonington REC serves as an advocate for meeting the recreational needs of Stonington residents of all ages by providing residents with an abundance of seasonal and year-round opportunities ranging from camps, clinics, leagues to open runs, trips, and fitness programs. 

YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES

The programs and services that are offered by Youth & Family Services are done so as a means of promoting positive youth development and supporting improved family and community relations.

SOCIAL SERVICES

Social Services programs address poverty issues within the Town of Stonington and help to increase self-sufficiency.  Services include: Case Management; Energy Assistance Programs; Eviction Prevention / Budgeting Workshops; Budget Coaching; Home Visits for Homebound Residents; Insurance and State Program Applications; Job Coaching; Paperwork Assistance; and the State of CT Renters' Rebate Program.  

SENIOR SERVICES

Acting as an advocate for elderly residents in the Town of Stonington, the Commission on Aging (COA) is a twelve-member commission, which meets monthly in order to discuss issues with regard to the elderly.  The division provides local and regional access to supportive services, as well as a variety of educational workshops and socialization opportunities.
