STONINGTON REC NFL FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE – FALL 2026
*Boys or Girls born in 2020 & 2021
Program runs from August into Nov (Games 9/12-11/14)
Season 14 kicks off this fall. Practices and games are held in Spellman Park behind Stonington High School and/or Stonington Middle School. (40 Field St, Pawcatuck) Each team will practice one weeknight, and games will be played on Saturdays. Goals of the league are that all participants will develop their social and mental skills, as well as physical strength and character while safely learning how to play flag football. Teamwork and active participation are key components. Every child plays! We will host a “skills day” in an effort to draft teams as evenly as possible. This is a recreational league. Each player will receive an Official NFL Flag Reversible Team Jersey and flag belt. Our coaches and referees will have access to amazing trainings and support tools to better teach and prepare for practices and games!
Age: Coed - Ages 5-6
Game Dates: Saturdays, September 12th – November 14th (Exact schedule TBD)
Practice Begins August 31st
Where: Spellman Park Fields and/or Stonington Middle
Fees: $115/ Resident; $135/Non-Resident
